A.          Kaarigo: Customer Payment Policy

This Customer Payment Policy explains the various payment methods available on Kaarigo, transaction security measures, applicable charges, and key terms governing payments made on the Kaarigo platform (“Platform”).

By placing an order on Kaarigo, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.

1.           Accepted Payment Methods

1.1.      Kaarigo offers multiple secure and convenient payment options to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Customers may choose from the following payment methods, subject to availability:

 

1.1.1. Credit Cards;

 

1.1.2. Debit Cards;

 

1.1.3. Net Banking (Internet Banking);

 

1.1.4. Wallets;

 

1.1.5. Gift Cards (where applicable); and

 

1.1.6. Cash on Delivery (C-o-D).

1.2.      All online transactions on Kaarigo are processed through secure and authorised payment gateway partners that use industry-standard encryption technologies to protect customer payment information. Such authorised payment gateway partners are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI DSS”).

2.           Credit and Debit Card Payments

2.1.      Accepted Cards

2.1.1. Kaarigo accepts payments made using the following cards issued in India and select international locations:

 

(a)         Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express

 

(b)         Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro

2.2.      Payment Process

2.2.1. To pay using a credit or debit card, customers must provide:

 

(a)         Card number

 

(b)         Expiry date

 

(c)         CVV number (where applicable)

2.2.2. Upon entering card details, customers are redirected to their bank’s secure authentication page to complete the transaction using the 3D Secure password or equivalent authentication mechanism mandated by the issuing bank.

 

2.2.3. Kaarigo does not store, process, or retain any sensitive authentication data, including card verification values (“CVV”), PINs, or 3D Secure credentials, after transaction authorisation.

 

2.2.4. Kaarigo further ensures that third-party scripts and resources used on the checkout and payment pages are subject to appropriate security controls and integrity monitoring measures to prevent unauthorised data access, injection, or skimming-type attacks.

3.           Transaction Security

3.1.      Card transactions on Kaarigo are processed through authorised third-party payment gateway partners, who adhere to the PCI DSS framework and maintain a secure cardholder data environment through appropriate technical and organisational measures, including periodic security assessments and vulnerability monitoring.

 

3.2.      All card transactions on Kaarigo are secured through encryption of cardholder data during transmission by the relevant payment gateway partners, using strong cryptography, including 256-bit encryption technology implemented via secure protocols such as TLS 1.2 or higher.

 

3.3.      Payments are processed through secure payment gateways operated by leading banks and financial institutions.

 

3.4.      Additional security is provided through 3D Secure authentication, such as “Verified by Visa” or “Mastercard SecureCode”, implemented by the issuing bank and payment gateway partners, to ensure that only authorised cardholders can complete online transactions.

4.           Fraud Prevention Measures

4.1.      Kaarigo places a high priority on transaction safety and fraud prevention.

 

4.2.      All transactions are continuously monitored for suspicious or unusual activity.

 

4.3.      Transactions flagged as potentially fraudulent may be temporarily placed on hold for manual verification.

 

4.4.      In rare cases, customers may be requested to submit identity verification documents to confirm the authenticity of the transaction.

 

4.5.      Kaarigo regrets any inconvenience caused due to such checks and seeks customer cooperation in maintaining a safe and secure online marketplace.

5.           What is a 3D Secure Password?

5.1.      A 3D Secure password is an additional security layer implemented by card networks and issuing banks to authenticate online card transactions.

 

5.2.      This password:

 

5.2.1. is created by the cardholder with their issuing bank;

 

5.2.2. is known only to the cardholder; and

 

5.2.3. ensures enhanced protection against unauthorised usage.

5.3.      Customers can register or reset their 3D Secure password by visiting their respective bank’s website.

6.           Internet Banking Payments

6.1.      Customers may also make payments using their bank’s Internet Banking facility.

 

6.2.      Funds are transferred directly from the customer’s bank account in a secure manner.

 

6.3.      Internet Banking payments are supported for a wide range of leading Indian banks, subject to availability at the time of checkout.

7.           Cash on Delivery (C-o-D)

7.1.      What is Cash on Delivery?

7.1.1. Cash on Delivery (“C-o-D”) allows customers to pay for their order in cash at the time of delivery, subject to availability, without making any advance online payment.

7.2.      Key Conditions

7.2.1. The maximum order value eligible for C-o-D is INR50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) and or as defined & updated by the Platform from time to time.

 

7.2.2. Payment must be made in cash only at the time of delivery.

 

7.2.3. Gift Cards, store credits, or foreign currency cannot be used for C-o-D orders.

 

7.2.4. Only Indian Rupees (“INR”) are accepted.

7.3.      How to Place a C-o-D Order

7.3.1. Select items marked as “Cash on Delivery Available”.

 

7.3.2. Proceed to checkout and choose “Pay by Cash on Delivery”.

 

7.3.3. Complete the verification process as prompted.

 

7.3.4. Pay the order value in cash to the delivery partner upon receipt of the shipment.

8.           Pricing and Charges

8.1.      There are no hidden charges when making a purchase on Kaarigo.

 

8.2.      Prices displayed on product pages are final and all-inclusive, unless expressly stated otherwise.

 

8.3.      Any applicable delivery charges are determined by the seller and will be clearly communicated at checkout.

 

8.4.      The amount shown at checkout is the exact amount payable by the customer.

9.           Instant Cashback and Offers

9.1.      Any cashback, discount, or promotional offer provided on Kaarigo is applied instantly at checkout, subject to applicable terms and conditions. Customers pay only the final price displayed in their shopping cart.

10.        Mobile Payments

10.1.  Customers can securely make payments using credit cards, debit cards, or Internet Banking through the Kaarigo mobile website or mobile application. The same encryption and security standards apply across all platforms.

11.        Policy Updates

11.1.  Kaarigo reserves the right to amend or update this Payment Policy from time to time. Any changes shall be effective upon being published on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such publication constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

 

B.          Kaarigo: Seller Payout Policy

This Payment Policy (“Policy”) governs pricing, deductions, payout eligibility, and payout timelines applicable to merchants/sellers (“Merchant” or “Seller”) selling products on the Kaarigo platform (“Platform”), owned and operated by DTDC 3PL (“Company”, “Kaarigo”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By listing products and transacting on the Platform, the Merchant agrees to be bound by this Policy.

1.           Pricing

1.1.      The Merchant shall have the right to determine and set the listing price of products offered for sale on the Platform.

 

1.2.      The listing price displayed to the end customer shall be an all-inclusive price and shall comprise multiple components, including but not limited to:

 

1.2.1. Platform commission;

 

1.2.2. shipping charges; and

 

1.2.3. any other applicable charges, fees, or taxes.

 

1.3.      The net amount payable to the Merchant shall be calculated after deducting the applicable charges from the listing price, as detailed below, and shall be paid in accordance with the payout cycle defined under this Policy.

2.           Deductions from Listing Price

The following deductions shall be applied to each order before payout to the Merchant:

2.1.      Commission

2.1.1. Kaarigo shall charge a commission on each successful sale.

 

2.1.2. The commission shall be calculated as a percentage of the product’s listing price.

 

2.1.3. Commission rates may vary based on product category, sub-category, or commercial arrangements agreed between the Company and the Merchant.

 

2.1.4. The applicable commission structure shall be shared with the Merchant at the time of onboarding and may be detailed in an annexure or communicated through the Merchant Portal.

2.2.      Shipping Fee

2.2.1. The Merchant shall bear the shipping charges for each order fulfilled through the Platform.

 

2.2.2. Standard shipping rates applicable to each product or shipment shall be visible to the Merchant on the Kaarigo Merchant Portal.

 

2.2.3. Shipping rates are subject to revision, typically at the beginning of each financial year, and any revisions shall be communicated to the Merchant in advance.

3.           Eligibility for Payout

3.1.      Only those orders that:

 

3.1.1. have been successfully delivered to the end customer; and

 

3.1.2. have completed the applicable return window as per Kaarigo’s internal policies; and

 

shall be considered “Eligible Orders” for payout.

 

3.2.      Orders that are cancelled, returned, refunded, disputed, or under investigation shall not be eligible for payout until such matters are fully resolved in accordance with the Platform’s applicable policies.

4.           Payout Cycle and Disbursement

4.1.      Payouts shall not be initiated on the same day the return window closes.

 

4.2.      All Eligible Orders shall be consolidated and processed together, and the net payout shall be disbursed to the Merchant on an alternate Friday of each month (“Scheduled Payout Date”).

 

4.3.       If a Scheduled Payout Date falls on a non-business day, public holiday, or banking holiday, the payout may be processed on the next working day.

 

4.4.      Payouts shall be credited to the Merchant’s registered bank account, subject to successful verification and compliance checks and the availability of banking and payment systems.

5.           Definition of Payout

5.1.      For the purpose of this Policy, “Payout” shall mean the net payable amount due to the Merchant after deducting:

 

5.1.1. Platform commission;

 

5.1.2. shipping fees;

 

5.1.3. applicable return or reverse-logistics charges; and

 

5.1.4. any other charges, adjustments, or recoveries applicable under Kaarigo policies

 

from the listing price of Eligible Orders.

6.           Changes to Payout Schedule

6.1.      The Company reserves the right to amend, revise, or modify the payout frequency, payout cycle, or Scheduled Payout Dates at its sole discretion.

 

6.2.      Any such changes shall be communicated to Merchants in advance through appropriate channels, including but not limited to email, dashboard notifications, platform announcements, or other communication modes deemed suitable by the Company.

 

6.3.      Changes shall become effective from the date specified in the communication and shall be binding on all Merchants continuing to use the Platform thereafter.

7.           General

7.1.      This Policy shall be read in conjunction with the Seller Agreement, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and any other applicable policies of the Platform.

 

7.2.      In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and any other agreement or policy, the terms of such agreement shall prevail.
